Why I own a high-powered Blender

iphone import 11 25 2013 391   After years of struggling with lack of energy I purchased a high power blender to start off my day.  Each morning I put together a nutritious green smoothie loaded with essential vitamins and minerals needed to combat the day ahead.  I don’t know what I would do without my blender.

Now several years later I am a mother of 3 children.  Twin boys who are 5 and a 2 year old girl.

You want to talk about wanting more energy.  Ha Ha!  Believe me when I say “I need energy to make it through the day”  Lol.

In all seriousness, I am also a full-time High School Teacher for the past 20 years.  After coming home from a long day of work, I am just tired.  If it wasn’t for the blender I’ve own for the past 6 years…well lets just say the smoothies is what keeps me going.

I so much enjoy how smoothies makes me feel after drinking them.  The natural energy is incredible to say the least.  It’s by far the most beneficial challenge I put upon myself 6 years ago.

Basically, over six years ago I was worn out and felt totally exhausted each and every day when I came home from work.  Getting up for the next morning was hard too!  It just felt I never had enough rest.  To top it off, I exercised on a regular basis too.

But it just wasn’t enough to keep me going.

This is when I decided to buy a Vitamix 5200 Blender.  We still have it and it doesn’t miss a beat!  It wasn’t until I started drinking healthy smoothies on a daily basis before I felt totally different.

Now our kids are drinking the smoothies too!  They love them as much as my husband and I do.  In fact, there are days when they come up to me and say “mommy will you make us a smoothie.”  You gotta love it 🙂

When they were babies I made a bunch of goodies for them with the blender.

It’s just amazing all the sorts of drinks, desserts, and meals you can make with it.  It’s endless.

If you are where I have been, then it’s time for you to make that change in your lifestyle.  I know it’s not easy to change the way you lived for so many years.

But. let me ask you this question; Are you tired of feeling worn down day after day?

I was.  And that is why I will always cherish the moment, that day I finally decided to make the change, to get out of the rut I was in.

I am very grateful for all the gifts God bestowed on my family and I.  May you cherish those special moments too!

Get yourself a blender!!!
